The Name.
Selah: /ˈsee-lah : A pause between verses — a moment to breathe, reflect, and let the meaning sink in. It’s the space between doing and being, the calm between notes, the whisper that says: “Be here now.”
Our Story
Born in the misty hills of Meghalaya, where rain kisses the soil and the forests hum ancient songs, Selah Organics is a reflection of home, heritage, and harmony.
At our core lies a belief that even the simplest acts — brewing a cup of tea, sprinkling golden turmeric, or breathing in the scent of freshly crushed herbs can become moments of mindfulness and care.
Each Selah product is crafted to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary. From teas and spices to soaps and loofahs, everything we make carries the purity of the hills, the wisdom of tradition, and the intention to nurture both body and soul.
We work hand in hand with local farmers and artisans, ensuring every ingredient is ethically sourced, every process sustainable, and every creation infused with love from the hills.
Sharon's Mission.
Sharon Rajee, the heart behind Selah Organics, grew up in Shillong a small town pillowed by clouds and nature.
For Sharon, home has always been more than a place; it’s a feeling. It’s the warmth of her mother’s kitchen, the earthy aroma of turmeric simmering on the stove, and the local custom of sharing a cup of tea with loved ones. It’s the Khasi way of life, where nature — mariang — is woven into the everyday.
But life took her far from home. As a lawyer in a big city, Sharon often found herself longing for the quiet rhythm of her homeland, its simplicity, purity, and slower pace. She missed the scent of turmeric from her mother’s kitchen, the warmth of shared tea, and the authenticity of slow living.
And so, Selah Organics was born out of love for the land she comes from and pride for her community.
It became both a return and a revolution.
Sharon’s mission is to build a movement that reconnects people with nature, honours local craftsmanship, and celebrates the art of living consciously.
Through Selah, she seeks to represent Meghalaya and the Northeast with pride, sharing its natural treasures, stories, and spirit with the world.
